One of the most famous ones out of them is the Unscripted digital arts festival which takes place in the town of Twillingate in Canada. The 4th edition of the Unscripted festival which took place earlier this year in September saw a large number of beginners, mid-level, and professional digital artists have a get together and enjoy a gala time. One of the primaries focuses of this edition was on ‘unscripted photography’ which had professional digital media photographers give talks on nature photography and also Instagram marketing and developing the ability to grab the picture out of things or as Dennis Minty said in his talk ‘developing the photographic eye’. Quite a few digital art galleries were set up where artists could both learn about new methods and formats and also check out their contemporaries. One of the most populated workshops was the one on Visual Poetry by Lauren Holden.There were also various workshops held on capturing ‘unscripted moments’ via various digital art forms.
Apart from the learning side of things there were also Yoga sessions by the sea, a great feast, and multiple treks around the island.
Over the 4 days of September the town of Twillingate turned into a fun hub of tourists from the digital arts world.
